Draft · last updated 7 October 2026
What Shortscape collects, why, and the choices you have.
This is a working draft written for the preview build. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet in force.
Account details from Google sign-in: your name, email address, and profile photo.
What you buy and hold: tickets, Pass status, and payment status. Card and e-wallet details are handled by Xendit and are not stored by Shortscape.
How you watch: playback starts, progress, completions, saved films, and searches. These are used for Continue watching, recommendations, and filmmaker analytics.
Filmmakers see totals for their own films: views, watch time, completions, sales, and earnings. They do not see who you are.
In this preview, tickets, the Pass, saved films, reminders, and watch progress are stored only in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data or using Reset test data in My tickets removes them.
Shortscape runs on Supabase for accounts and data, Xendit for payments, Mux for streaming, and Cloudflare R2 for uploads. Each processes data only to provide its service.
You can ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be deleted. Purchase records may be kept where the law requires it.
