Draft · last updated 7 October 2026
The rules for watching, buying tickets, holding a Pass, and selling films on Shortscape.
This is a working draft written for the preview build. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet in force.
These terms apply to everyone who uses Shortscape: viewers who watch films, buy tickets, or hold a Pass, and filmmakers who upload and sell films through Studio.
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has accessed it.
A ticket is a licence to stream one film for personal, non-commercial viewing. Tickets do not expire while the film remains on Shortscape.
Premiere tickets are sold before release and unlock at the scheduled premiere time.
Refund rules: [to be confirmed before launch].
The Pass is a monthly subscription that includes every film marked PASS. It renews each month until you end it. When you end it, access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Films sold only by ticket are not included in the Pass.
Prices are in Philippine pesos and include the amount shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Xendit. A payment is only treated as complete after Shortscape receives the processor's confirmation, not when you return from the payment page.
Filmmakers set ticket prices within the platform range and keep 80% of each ticket sale. The platform commission is recorded with each sale.
By submitting a film you confirm you hold the rights needed to distribute it on Shortscape. Films are reviewed before publication and may be declined, sent back for changes, or suspended.
Do not copy, record, re-stream, or redistribute films. Do not interfere with playback protection or try to access films you have not unlocked.
We will post changes to these terms on this page and update the date at the top.
